Republicans on the Ropes

Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the House and Clinton antagonist, has just penned a desperate plea to Congressional Republicans to get their act together or risk facing a decisive defeat to the Dems come November.

The piece outlines the evidence against them and lays out nine points that he thinks will turn the tide. I say, good luck with that. These people have driven our country into a ditch. Democrats and Independents and even Republicans are turning out in droves to vote against them. It will be a November massacre, and it will happen because Republicans deserve it.

There has never, in the history of this country (barring the Civil War), been a period of such dishonor and incompetence on the part of our political elites. Come November, Americans will vote to say good riddance.
