That Crying Sound? It’s the GOP

Beneath the bluster of Republicans flailing around, lying to America about Obama’s foreign policy positions, and nitpicking like teenage girls about the backdrop (!) of Obama’s acceptance speech tomorrow, you can just hear another sound. A soft whimpering. Is that…yes, it is…it’s every neocon in America (okay, I don’t really hear them, but I’m an empathetic guy) crying into their Chateau Margaux.

The reason?

Look at these polls:

CNN/Time in Nevada: Obama +5
CNN/Time in Pennsylvania: Obama +5
CNN/Time in New Mexico: Obama +13
Suffolk in Colorado: Obama +5
Mason/Dixon in Florida: Obama +1

D’oh! Today, with Obama’s nomination by acclamation, is the beginning of the end. We will party on January 20, 2009. Along the way, remember to step on the necks of the GOP and twist. I want to hear their cries loud and clear.

Gee, I hadn’t noticed Republicans flailing around, lying to America about Obama’s foreign policy positions, and nitpicking like teenage girls about the backdrop of Obama’s acceptance speech tomorrow. I was too busy watching the Dim-ocrats pretend to be unified, profess to be patriotic, and prepare the holy water that Barack Obama will walk upon on Thursday evening.

I can’t wait to see that empty suit Obama in his spiffy new $1,500 hand-tailored designer suit standing before his throngs of loony liberal left-wingers. Do you know if he invited his destitute half-brother George who lives in Africa on less than $1 per MONTH. May the almighty Obama can give George one his hand-me-down haute coutre suits once in a while?

Obama is a pandering pathetic paper tiger peddling his putrid political pablum while pretending to be a regular guy. Voters are increasingly seeing through his rhetoric and ruse and the only one who is going to need a crying towel come November is you when McCain is elected president and Obama is sent packing.
