I post this because the mystery of Microsoft’s languishing stock has long perplexed me.
I understand that the Street feels that the growth opportunities are no longer there, but somehow, despite the conventional wisdom, Microsoft continues to grow very nicely and virtually mints money.
The reason they can buy-back $40 billion in stock? They net $4 billion a quarter. And are sitting on a ton of cash. This is a nice move by Microsoft on an undervalued stock.
